Absolutlely not! The story starts at letter 1 just for you whenever you subscribe, and will continue to be sent twice a month until you've received all 12!

Are there any other fees?

No, all prices are what you see is what you get. Shipping will appear, if it applies, in the cart.

What age range is this for?

The story is family friendly and written at a 6th grade reading level. Annily is an adult and begins the trip by traveling solo. In keeping with cozy stories, there is no swearing, alcohol or drug use, or sexual content. This would be a great family bonding experience, and you could pretend the letters are from a distant cousin!

What is a cozy adventure?

Think suspensful mystery with a warm and magical twist as Annily travels across Scotland and England. Perfect for curling up with a cup or tea and a scone or two.

Is Annily real? Is this a true story?

Annily feels real, but she is pure imagination. Her story and her world is for you to discover and enjoy.

Do I need to read them in order?

Yes, that is preferrable, as each letter builds on the last. If one of the letters gets lost in the mail, please reach out, and we'll get it on it's way to you within 1-3 days.

Do you need to have access to a computer?

A couple websites are mentioned in the story, and they are pages you can visit for more information. It would be helpful to be able to access the web, but if this is impossible, please let us know.

As I was packing up the next batch of letters to go out, I was reminded—yet again—why I love sending these so much. It all goes back to my love of receiving mail, a thrill I’m so excited to share with you.  

 

When I was 8 or 9, my family moved from Michigan to New Mexico. This was before the internet, before cell phones, when long-distance calls were pricey, and the only way to keep in touch with my friends was through the mail. Now, let’s be honest—young kids are terrible pen pals (I was no exception). But that feeling of opening the mailbox and seeing a letter addressed just to me? Pure magic. And honestly? I still feel that way.  

 

Because there’s something about holding a letter in your hands that feels almost magical. No pings or notifications pulling you away. Just words on a page, a world unfolding before you.  

It’s a small escape to a simpler, less chaotic time.  

 

Annily’s adventure unfolds over 12 letters—each one bringing you closer to the mystery she’s unraveling, the part she’s meant to play, and the life (perhaps even the world) she’s trying to save.
